Mixed media on found and cast Aluminium.  Aluminium is used in aircraft manufacture because it is light. 
Dreams of flight are as old as humanity.  Daedulus and Icarus tried to escape from exile using feathers fastened with wax.  Over centuries, many died or injured themselves through trusting to primitive wings.
I am interested in flight as metaphor and in flight aborted or foiled.  I am interested in powerful forces of nature versus the determination of the human spirit and in sensations of disorientation.
